QLD Annual General Meeting

It’s time to hold the Annual General meeting of the AISD. It is an annual event and a
must for all associations. The AGM is a meeting where all members of the association can meet once a year to discuss various issues relating to the association and therefore all members are urged to attend.

Where: Carina East Leagues Club
When: Tuesday 8th November 2011, 6.00pm.

Proposed agenda
1. Welcome address by the Chairman
2. Confirm and approve minutes of the previous AGM held on 10th Nov 2010
3. Receive and adopt Annual Financial Report for the year ended 30th Sept 2011
4. Consider and approve appointment of Statutory Auditor for the year 2011-12
5. Start the process of fresh Election of the Management committee
6. Declare result of the Election of the Managing committee
7. Discuss and resolve formally submitted questions or matters
8. Any other matter with the permission of the chair
9. Meeting close

There is an opportunity for any member to submit formal questions or matters for
resolution to the management committee for inclusion in the agenda up to 14 days prior to the AGM.
The AGM will be followed by an open forum style general meeting and a buffet dinner.
Past attendees have collectively praised this opportunity to meet fellow detailers and share their thoughts and concerns with a growing peer group. So please come along and share in discussions on where the future of our industry is heading, how issues may affect us or our colleagues and take stock on the events of the last twelve months.
